Presentation of Papers

Presentation of technical papers will be either in oral or poster session. Each oral session will begin with an invited Keynote Speaker. Projectors facilities (LCD, slide and overhead projectors) will be provided for oral presentations. Display boards will be made available to presenting authors for poster sessions.

Who Should Participate

All individuals and organizations engaged in mitigating the disastrous effects of earthquakes and working towards the noble cause of reducing the human miseries are invited to participate and contribute in the Symposium.  These include: Practicing Earthquake, Civil and Structural Engineers; Seismologists, Geologists and Geophysicists; Architects, R&D and Educational Institutions, Consultancy Organizations, Government Officials, Local bodies and NGO’s connected with Earthquake Disaster Mitigation activities, Civil Engineering and Infra-structure Development Organizations, Engineers from Electrical Equipment Manufacturer, Construction Companies, Repair and Rehabilitation Agencies  etc.

Official Language
The Official language of the Symposium will be English.


The delegates are requested to register by filing and mailing the enclosed registration form. The fee structure for the registration of delegates includes registration material and local hospitality is given below:

ISET members Rs. 4000
Students and research scholars Rs. 3000
Foreign delegate US$ 250
Accompanying delegates will get all the benefit except the symposium volume
